A teacher who comes to your door. Authentic healing yoga, breathwork and meditation across Bangsar, Mont Kiara, KLCC, Damansara Heights, Bukit Tunku and Petaling Jaya. For stress, sleep, anxiety, back pain and a body that ages well.
No traffic, no studio rush, no waiting room. The teacher arrives at your home and the practice begins on your floor.
Personalised to your level, your injuries, your goals, your schedule. The class adjusts to you, not the other way around.
Authentic Hatha, breathwork and meditation for broken sleep, a stiff back and the long tail of burnout.
A weekly practice that costs less in a year than a single evening with a specialist. Prevention is quieter and far less expensive than recovery.
Practise side by side with your partner, a family member, or a close friend. The same price, twice the practice.
Hatha, Vinyasa, Raja, pranayama and meditation, taught in a three-generation lineage. The deeper practice that modern studios mostly leave out.
This is not yoga learned in a weekend course or a franchised certification. It is a practice that came to Kuala Lumpur through my late grandfather, Prof. Yogacharya H. A. Rao, a master who taught quietly across India, Japan and Germany. After him, my mother, Datin Suleiha, carried it forward.
I have been on the mat since I was a child. For eighteen years now, I have done nothing else.
What you receive in your home in Bangsar, Mont Kiara or KLCC is the same yoga my grandfather taught. It is rooted in the Gheranda Samhita, one of the three classical texts of yoga. There are no shortcuts in it, but there are no gimmicks either.
The starting point for new students. Held postures, alignment and breathwork to build foundation strength and flexibility, gently, regardless of age.
For practitioners ready for more. Deeper postures, faster vinyasa flow, refined breath. The practice intensified without losing its centre.
Pure pranayama and meditation for stress, insomnia and an over-worked mind. Suited to busy professionals, parents and anyone who cannot switch off.
Yoga therapy is the practice shaped specifically around what is troubling you. Mostly breath and posture, taught carefully in your own home, in privacy.
Sequences that lower the nervous system from chronic alertness to calm.
Evening pranayama and postures designed to settle the mind for rest.
Slow breath work that calms the nervous system directly. A powerful complement to the care you already receive.
Targeted, careful work for desk-bound bodies and old injuries.
A different kind of practice for those who carry weight.
I work with executives, founders, partners and senior leaders across Bangsar, Mont Kiara, KLCC and Damansara Heights. The pressure is real. The sleep is broken. The mind does not switch off in the evening. The body has not been listened to in years.
An executive session is private, in your home, on your schedule. It is not the yoga you tried at a studio in your twenties. It is a focused practice built around how a leader's body and nervous system actually live: long hours, decision fatigue, frequent travel, broken sleep, low-grade chronic stress.
Most executive students notice the same three changes within the first month. They sleep deeper. They stop dragging through the afternoon slump. They make decisions from a calmer place.
One teacher. Your home. Your schedule. No studio, no roster, no waiting room.
Sessions are sixty minutes, designed to fit inside a working week. Early morning, lunchtime, or evening.
The breath techniques you learn here come with you into meetings, into traffic, into the moments that used to fray you.
Nothing posted, nothing shared. The practice stays between us.
I teach private yoga at home across Kuala Lumpur, primarily in Bangsar, Mont Kiara, KLCC, Damansara Heights, Bukit Tunku and Taman Tun. I travel to my students. You do not travel to me.
A single trial session is RM220, credited if you continue to a package. Four private home sessions are RM600. A 12-week programme of twenty-four sessions, twice a week, is RM2,880, which includes a 20% saving on the per session rate. Each session is personalised to your body, your schedule and your goals.
Yes. Many people use yoga to manage stress, sleep and back stiffness, and the research on it is encouraging. Results vary from person to person, so there is no promised timeline. I have taught students living with insomnia, anxiety and long-standing back pain, always alongside their own medical care.
Authentic traditional yoga based on the Gheranda Samhita. This includes Hatha, Vinyasa and Raja yoga, alongside pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. I also offer yoga therapy for stress, depression, insomnia and back pain.
My teaching is inherited, not certified. I learned from my late grandfather, Prof. Yogacharya H. A. Rao, and my mother, Datin Suleiha, in an unbroken family lineage. The practice follows the Gheranda Samhita and is centred on balance, not performance.
No. Most students start with stiffness, stress, chronic pain or no experience at all. The practice begins where your body is. Authentic yoga is about steadiness, not flexibility.
Yes. I offer private duet sessions for couples and small group sessions for families, friends or executive teams in Kuala Lumpur. Please WhatsApp me to discuss.
Very little. A quiet space the size of a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and an open mind. I bring everything else, including a clear plan tailored to you.
Each session of Aman's Healing Yoga is rejuvenating both physically and mentally. It must be his well planned and systematic approach to every lesson, taking also into account the class profile. His lessons have improved my flexibility and balance. I am still learning new techniques at each lesson.
Dedicated yoga instructor who tailors each session according to my health needs. Highly recommended.
I tremendously enjoy my yoga sessions with Aman. He is knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to listen. I've definitely noticed an improvement in my flexibility and overall sense of well-being since starting the sessions with him.
A short guide you can begin today. Three breath techniques, two safe postures, a guided relaxation, and a simple daily plan. Drawn from three generations of teaching.
I take a small number of new students each season. If this feels like the practice you have been looking for, send a message and we will find the right format for you.
